Great bows. Good for tournement yet great for hunting also. Long riser helps for stability. But, if you look at specs. on the XL and the Legacy, the risers are almost the same length. The legacy just has more parallel limbs, which makes it smoother but shorter. Nothin bad about this bow at all.

I think the Q2XL is one of the best bows Mathews has ever made. It is a hard bow to top no matter what you are looking at! I still have one & love it, it is my main hunting bow & I have not shot a bow that would make me give it up as my main hunting bow.

I have the Q2XL and love it. I have shot the Legacy and several different Bowtech' s and still have not found anything that shoots more accurately or smoothly as the Q2XL. I have not tried the new Hoyt, so I can not give you my opinion on it. I would suggest however, to only take people advice for what it is. What I like in a bow may be different than what you like in a bow. So I highly recommend you shot as many different bows as possible and go with the one that feels best to you. I did not mean to mislead anyone in to thinking the Legacy or Bowtech' s I shot were not nice shooting bows, because they are. I just still prefer my Q2XL.
Thanks and good hunting!!!
