ASAT camo
#2
It does work and work well I might add. I have found that it does not work well when hunting ducks and geese. I have lots of other camo but I think ASAT works the best. I believe ASAT camo is cheaper to buy as well. For the most part I really do not believe that in most cases we really need camo. Lack of motion is the best camo.

ASAT is a good pattern - by leaps and bounds over the big boys. I still believe Predator and/or Intrusion are better patterns for breaking up the human outline - which is what you want when hunting whitetails. Biggest reason I say this is because the light and dark patches are bigger on these patterns, meaning they will still break you up at a farther distance (not run together/blob) I've never actually used ASAT though.

I've been using ASAT for 11 years and think it's great. I'll never forget the time I was still hunting and got within 20-25 yards from 2 does that were feeding. I was in the wide open against a snow background. I was just standing still. The older doe would look up at me every so often but it had NO idea what I was. It was like she was looking through me. Then it would go back to feeding. I was sold on ASAT ever since. Recently I've been thinking about getting Enigma or Realtree APHD. Probably just bored with the ASAT after all these years.

I have alot of the old camo around and have started to replace some of it with Natural Gear.I really like the Natural Gear but the ASAT and even Predator look good. I just don't know if their advertising can hold up to the actual field use. Has anyone had some side by side comparison?
