Default bent arrows

Ok, after my dryfire and the overall check up of my bow, I had to retune it.
I got the nockcenter set again and went to papertuning.
I got tears in about every direction, so I tried to set my WB with one arrow and shoot from 2 and 4m. Once I did that I shot my other arrows, I ended up with 3 good arrows out of a full quiver.
When I put them on my arrow spinner they all had the tips out of line, the arrows itself were looking straight but when I screwed in the fieldtips things looked crooked.
I have easton axis and beman hunters, both 400 spine.
I shot them at about anything, wood, hay, foam and rock, seems they died on me....
Is this normal ? ( stupid question but I thought they would last longer )
They're about 6 months old.

Good thing is my blazer vanes outlasted my arrows which wasn't the case in the beginning......lol

Not sure about the Beeman, but I shoot the Axis - and so do several other local bowhunters. We shoot a lot. I have never had a bad one and never had one go bad after shooting it awhile. Of course, the occasional shooting into a rock could affect things [8D] for the worse.

I think the pulling out part at the range is the problem.
The guys who are mostly target shooters shoot with lighter arrows and rounder tips and my fieldpoints penetrate the pressed hay target much deeper....
I actually gained strength, not from drawing my bow but from pulling those arrows out....

I'm getting me some fmj's next week.......

The FMJ's are a great arrow, but I doubt you will find they are any more durable for the type of shooting you describe

rocks are pretty easy targets, they just don't cook well and my taxidermist always looks funny when I bring one in....

It might be something I have to check when I'm glueing the inserts in, the problem might start there.......

I have had some for three years now and they are still as good as the day I got them. I did get a doz. last year because I only had 8 lift from the first two years. Great arrow only thing I don't like about them is my bag target will not hold them. They blow through it a lot and every thing comes out the back with them. I got a new bag target and was out shooting today and had some blow through it and it's a brand new target. They where grouping on top of each other in a 2 inch spot at 30 yards.

Maybe its glue build up on the inside of the shaft? I never really knew it made a difference until I was at a local shop and the owner was doing some arrows for a guy. He had a little round file that he would use to go around the inside of each arrow. (these were used arrows).

I always use a small file to clean the inside of the shaft afterwards, I wait 24h before I shoot them and I try to use just enough glue.

I have three arrows that fly perfectly, that's enough for now.....
