Default 2" Blazers????

I am wanting to switch to the 2" Blazer Vanes. Is there any flaws with the 2" Vanes when shooting both fixed blades(muzzys) and mechanicals. Also, will the regular Arizona EZ fletch fletching Jig work with the smaller 2" vanes when I go to put them on? Thanks

The only thing I've seen that blazers don't work well on are heavy arrows w/ big broadheads. By heavy, I mean 550+ grains, and 150 gr. broadheads. No problems w/ anything else.

Same here. And your Arizona EZ fletch should work fine with the Blazers. I have used a 4 degree helical with very good success - both on fixed and mechanical BH's.

Another thing to keep an eye on is they do have a higher profile so pay close attention to your clearance points

No and yes! They have worked great for me with Muzzy 100's and 380 gr X Weaves.

when i first put them on they were smackin the foam piece of my trophy ridge drop away so i moved the nock lil bit then they were smackin my riser... so i took the foam piece off an used another arrow holder... i have a very very slim margin for error with the fletchin not contactin anything...... when they dont contact anything i love them

Blazer work great on carbons. I have tried smaller higher profile vanes and feather on aluminum's and they didn't work very good. I think it's not the weight it's the size around that makes the difference and that the fact that carbon arrows straighten out faster coming out of the bow. They say it takes about 15 feet to 20 feet before a aluminums straighten out. The vane don't haft work as hard to straighten the carbon arrow out as much. I shoot them with a fixed broadhead and they shoot like bullets and my groups are great.
