RE: BEST OF 2007... Fixed pin bow sights
I just got what was supposed to be one of the best ones. The Micro Matrix GS from Trophy Ridge but the pins are awfully flimsy so i dont know if i would recommend that one . Problably best to go with a Spot Hawg.

Ditto, for a $200 sight, Spott Hogg, Hogg It with wrap kit (pins too dark without the wrap kit). For a $140 sight, G5 Optic ME but get a 2008 model as they strengthened the pins on the newer models. For a $70 sight, the trophy ridge is ok but sacrifice the first pin byclipping an1/8 of an inch off the top with wire cuttersand use that as agaurd to protect the pins behind it, otherwise, your first fiber opitic pin will break whenit comes into contact with its first twig...

I personally like the Cobra Sidewinder series of Bow sights. These babies are all metal construction and are bright. Like the Spot hog, these sights have METAL pens that will not break when slippin throught the brush!

It's funny you should mention price of sights as I was just thinking the other day of the 3 sights I have on my various bows. The cheapest one still cost me more than the first compound bow I bought which was $125. Whoops I'm telling my age! That first compound was a far cry from what my present compounds are capable of. A gallon ofgas back then was?????????? That sure puts things in perspective
