Yeah I agree, the powerdrop looks great. But the TM style forks are the weak spot IMHO. I would like to see something cradle the arrow better. The Zero Effect rest does exactly that. Unless you are hanging upside down, that arrow isn't going nowhere. The MUZZY ZE=Confidence! I know that when I draw back my bow, my arrow is exactly where it should be every time.

I have never used a drop away, so I can't comment from personal experience. But this past hunting season I did use Golden Key's Royal Hunter rest. It is similar to the Rover, but uses either TM type launchers or the horse shoe launcher. This is the quietest spring launcher hunting rest I have ever used. It makes NO sound as the launcher returns to the up position and is some kind of silky smooth.

Well I hate to burst the bubble of all you muzzy fans who don't like the tm style arrow rest of the power drop, because Golden Key added a lightweight Arrow guard and new stainless V launchers that hold your
arrow in addition to the No noise cradle launchers provided
Just making it better and giving you choices. All power drops are going to have this. They were able to make the switch over because they haven't shipped any out yet.

This new Power Drop was the rest I wanted to shoot this season anyway,BUT the addition of the new V-arm and the arrow holder is a real bonus!!!

Now,if a fallaway isn't your cup of tea then I agree with Jim 100%. I had the chance to shoot the Royal Hunter for awhile last season and this rest is awesome!!! The "Horse Shoe" laucher is the most forgiving I've seen and fletch clearence was not a problem. I was shooting CX 3D Select 200s with a hard right helical that I had set-up for the Mirage fallaway and I never experienced any tunning problems.

Well, I am having trouble deciding which arrow rest to choose. I have been using a bo-doodle, but want to use a drop away rest. They make sense. So, has anyone tried the scout mountain rest?

I am leaning towards the NAP 4000, but it sounds like the Muzzy rest is good also.

hi da bears if you want to stick with a bo doodle they have a new drop away rest,i thinks it' s called " game dropper" i never used one but theres pictures of it on there website. i use a bo doodle conquest 2 and i' m thinking of switching to it.

I am having excellent results from my new Mirage. It was easy to set up and has " arrow capture" much like the Muzzy. Unlike the muzzy, the mirage seems to be a more compact unit.

I have shot both the MZE and the mirage. The Muzzy slide killed a WC string in about a month, otherwise, it is a good rest, but I am in love with my mirage.

My wife' s bow has a Quiktune 2000 on it and she likes it. I had no prob. with the cable getting in the way of arrow clearance like some have had. It looks like an easy fix if you do have cable contact. Someone on the board modified theirs with a cord like a TT or Mirage would have.

i' ve been using the super v from grey wall archery with great sucess.
it' s noiesless simple great clearance and about 30.00
i even started to use it indoors no problems and great scores.
