I have never worn a pair, but from all of the reviews I've read, you can't beat a pair of Muck boots.

Try out the Muck boots. Mine have been comfortable and pretty warm up to now. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0046816830897a&type=product&cm Cat=Search_Results_NYR&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&QueryText=muck&N=4887&Ntk =Products&Ntx=mode+matchall&Nty=1&Ntt= muck&noImage=0

I've looked at both of those, with my eye really being on the burly....

duke, how warm are those buddy? It's been my experience w/ rubber boots that warmth is not exactly their most redeeming quality...

I wear Muck boots also, keep my feet warm down to about freezing. Then it is time for some boot blankets.

Tuco, thats classic! "When a man with a gun meets a man with a shovel, the man with the shovel digs!" I would say the muck or the alpha burly. I need a pair too and its gonna be whichever is cheaper or best deal available.

I have the LaCrosse Alphaburley (non-insulated) and have used them upto just recently when the weather has started turning cold. Had to go buy some insulated boots (Rocky's).

I have LaCrosse Alpha Burleys in 800 gram. Loved them, but found a tearin one of them this year. After hearing such good things about Muck, i bought a pair of Muck Woody Max boots. They are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. I haven't worn them in extreme cold yet, but my feet were nice and warm yesterday evening on stand.
