Default Black Gold Flashpoint

Like everything in bowhunting there's just to many options, with sights I think I'm going with the Flashpoint by Black Gold does anyone have any goods or bads for that sight?

I have them on 3 of my bows and really can't come up with a single negative issue that I've run into with these sights as far as a hunting sight is concerned. They are bright, easy to adjust, and rock solid. And let me get back to my mention of a "hunting sight", that's what they are ment to
be. They are very simple in their design, but as rugged as any sight out there. Simple is better in a hunting type sight, in that it means that there
is less to go wrong and fewer parts to have trouble with. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Well thank-you very much for your input, just getting into archery/bowhunting is very difficult because it seems that everyting is a ford, chevy argument. Through alot of research and the majority concenses I wil be picking up my bow tomorrow which consists of 2007 Bear Truth (new), Black Gold Flashpoint, Trophy Taker XtremeFC,G5 meta peep,S-coil stabilizer, Scott release, Easton storms w/ Rage 2 blades and I'm not sure on what kind of target yet or if I'm going to put an sts string suppressor on it , I guess we'll see what happens!

I switched to the Flashpoint this year and couldn't be happier. It's a tough site, and the pins are super bright. I shot one of my does this yearright at the end of legal light and the pins were bright as day. Also, I'd highlyrecommend the .019 pins.

I have this sight and like it very much. The pins certainly are bright enough and like the previous poster I would also recommend the .019's.

Your bow and goodies list looks real good. Personally, I would spend a little more and get some good arrows - but if you are new at this, you will probably go through that first dozen pretty quick, and be ready for some better shafts at that point.

IMO, the 2007 Bear Truth needs some sort of string suppressor.
