There are some pretty good bows on sale right now, in advance of the 2008 models coming out soon. Fred Bear bows are particularly good values for the money. Martin Bengal is hard to beat. I'm assuming you don't want to spend $800?

I think you should get the bow that feels right to you. Shoot what you can and make up your own mind.
