Ross bow cr331 versus Mathews Switchback
I am looking to buy a new bow and the shop by me has Ross and Mathews. The gentleman behind the counter stated he shoots a Ross cr331 and is every bit as fast and smother then the Mathews Switchback. What about reliability. Are there any thoughts on this since I have heard little about Ross Archery?

ross is REALLY hard to beat quality wise... after shooting many myself, including the switchback and drenalin, i bought a Ross 334... its a fantastic bow... not the fastest thing out there, but WAY fast enough to take down anything you're going to be shooting at in North America... for 08 the CR331 is being changed to the 331 Cardiac, should pick up a little speed as well, I've heard it will be in the area of 320ish... but, if your dealer is willing to cut a good price on the 07 331, its a great bow...

Thanks for the imfo. I have a Hoyt Protec but at 6olbs. it is slow compared to the bows today plus I was almost beat in speed by a "black widow " recurve at only 50lbs. Thats why I am looking for a new bow.
