Default My Bowtech is Here...

Last night I picked my Bowtech up from the proshop. It's an Equalizer. The birth certificate states it plods around at 286fps @51lbs and 26"draw![]. Played with it this morning and chrono'd my hunting arrows, 382 grains total weight, @ 232 fps. Some slight adjustment to the nocking point and I got the Magnus stingers shaving feathers off the arrows.

Strongly considered buying a new EQ last january and am strongly considering one next january too. Those little bows boast some good speeds.

If you wanted more speed out of your particular setup...you could shave some of the weight off those arrows.

Anyways....good luck to you this fall.

Thanks. I don't want to go lighter in arrow weight. I'm trying to get more penetration from my setup.

Doegirl, it sounds like you've got a pretty sweet setup; it also sounds like you know how to handle that puppy! Best wishes for a great season this year.

My son shoots the same bow. Has one for tournaments and one set up for hunting. They are just increadable. This is the best bow for anyone that has a short drawlength.
