Default Bowtech Allegiance?

I am thinking about getting a bowtech allegiance. Does anyone have any advice about it before I do? I would appreciate any information thank you.

I just got one and I really like it. My only issue with it is that even though
it is the same poundage as my old boy it is harder to draw back.

I've owned every Bowtech in their stable for the last few years... The Allegiance is always the one which finds itself going on my hunting trips.

In a few weeks, I'll be leaving for Colorado and my Allegiance will once again be my primary hunting rig. I'm taking one of my Guardians as a backup since I'll be so far from home and can't see -- in the unprobable event of something happening to my Ally -- sitting there bowless with four more bows hanging in my shop at home 1,500 miles away.

But the point is... it's the Ally which will be seeing all the hunting time.

If you liked shooting it in the shop buy the bow. You will not be disappointed with it at all. I bought mine in February and love shooting it.

I sold my Mathews Xt and snatched up an 07 Alli. She is just as smooth as the xt. But 25 fps faster with the same set up..

I had an 05 allegiance, great bow. Fast, smooth, quiet and shock free. Only thing I didnt care for was the grip. The draw cycle is a bit stiffer than some but usualy yeilds more fps. Mine was set at 70lbs shooting a 360grain arrow at 29" draw and I was getting like 308fps. Thats almost 76 foot pounds, plenty to take down anything is north america.

My wife and I both have an Allegiance. I also have a new Guardian. My Allegiance is a 2006 and I will say the 2007's have a much nicer grip, but that is the only complaint I could give you. Both bows are fast, quiet, and most importantly very shootable. Good Hunting.

I have an 05 as well. The grip was an issue until I bought a dremel and shaved it down to size. I am torn between getting a Guardian or an Allegiance next year. But, I'm sure they will come out with something new that will appeal to me too. You won't go wrong if you buy one. Steve in Ky.
