what range finder?

looking for a good range finder at a good price $200 or under. I was looking at Bushnell 450 and the Nikon 440 pro staff. is there any others out there at the same price range? or a better one? and what do you recommend.

thanks[/align]

I've got a Nikon 800 I'd get to you for $250. I'm upgrading to the Leupold.

I've got the Nikon and no complaints. Works great for bowhunting.

I have the Bushnell 450 and I have no complaints. Not only do I use it for hunting I also use it at the range to verify the range markers.

The Nikon seems to have the most fans for a cheap rangefinder.

Nikon 440 here. It does all I need for bowhunting. I'm happy with it and would buy another.

I'd had a Nikon 440 and really liked it. Never had any issues with it, but I recently upgraded to the Leupold RX2 and so far it is awesome. I haven't had a chance to take it to the woods yet though. I will this weekend and expect to still like it. It has a ton of different modes. I think it's overkill for most guys including myself but I got it for less than a new Nikon so I went ahead and got it.

I HAVE THE 170 DOLLAR VERSION BUSHNELL CAME OUT WITH. ITS TOUGH. FELL OUT OF TREE TWICE, STILL WORKS. I UPGRADED TO NIKON 440. AND I MEAN UPGRADED.

Kodiak,

have you looked at the Leupold RX-II with the true ballistic range? I have the Nikon laser 440 and like it but the RX-II looks to have some good stuff to it. Its only 300 bucks too. U think this is a good buy, what do you think about the over product?
does anyone have opinions on this product?
thanks

I just got Leupold RXII's for $209 + $8.00 shipping. That's the price of the baseline Nikon. Couldn't pass up a price like that.
