Default 2007 Allegiance

I'm trying to make up my mind whether or not I want to buy a new 07 Allegiance, but I want to know how they compare to the 2006 Allegiance. I saw that there are some obvious differences such as weight, but I want to know if they shoot any different. Is there more noticeable vibration, and do the cams still lean? I know Bowtech says they improved that but I've heard it still happens. So anyone who has shot both, Help me out please

I had an 05 allegiance and never had a problem with the cams myself. I have heard that the 07 has a bit more hand shock and vibration cause its lighter, also they redesigned the cam for the 2nd or 3rd time so that should have helped with cam lean if it was a problem.

I have the '07 and love it. Very accurate and to me no noticable hand shock or vibration to worry about.

They fixed the cam lean problem. However, some do rub the limbs due to tight tolerances and a missing shim. Bowtech is quick to correct any issues you may have though. I just had to ship mine off and hope to have it back soon.

I have only had my 07 for a month or so and I love it. Best shooting bow I have owned.

I have the 2007 Ally and a 2007 Guardian you might want to try the Guardian before you make a final decision.

Less than 10 hrs to go until I get my replacement Ally. I'm going to have trouble sleeping tonight.

Tomorrow I'll ask the owner if I can shoot his '06 for comparison and see. Altough, when I bought mine he said the '07 was slightly better.

Hey dave, if you would have bought a hoyt you wouldn't need to play musical bows, and send back the rejects. HA HA!
