Broadhead Targets
#1
Ive used the Block andMorrels Yellow Jacket, I deffinetly prefer the block out of the two. I was just curious if anyone has a favorite broadhead target they would like to recomend. I would prefer something I could shoot both broadheads and field tips into, I garentee doing that to the morrell is a bad idea.

Yeah I made the mistake of shooting a couple of field tipped arrow into the YJ just to see what would happen, thought I was about to give myself a hernia trying to get them things out. Burried right to the fletches and took two of us just to get them to budge.

Yes shooting field tips into a YJ broadhead target is not a good idea. The only one that I'd like to try is the block 4x4... I hate layered targets.

Sorry, I was referring to the the 1/8th inch nylon/foam layered targets that you can slice pieces out of when you shoot.

I bought a Carbon 6 shooter last year. After one year the Slick tricks I have taken out two sides. FP's don't come out real well unless you grease your arrows. It has the thin layers.
I'd like to find a dual purpose foam target also.
I was going to get a yellow Jac. I'm glad I read this.

Unless Yellojacket makes more than one type of target. The broadhead target I have is NOT for field tips. As passthru indicated, you can turn yourself inside out trying to get a field tip out of them!
