I've been using the Weather Tamer (WC) on my Allegiance for a while now WITHOUT any problems and have absolutely no problems with vane clearance. The cable groove design lets the buss cable move naturally, producing less drag and more consistency. The ROUNDED radiuses provides excellent resistance to cable wear--so I find it IMPOSSIBLE to see how this cable slide can destroy cables!!!
Added to the machined aluminum the WC now also comes in a machined delrin.

It is way easier on cables, the openings are much wider and the machining has larger radius's on the edges. They preserve the X-coat on the winnerscoice way better than the factory hoyts or the unique teflon slides, at least the one I bought last year has. the only difference between last years and this yearsis that they rotated their logo 90 degrees.

That should be 180 degrees, thefirst slides WC brought out had the words'Winners Choice' up side down on a RH bow.
