    What, pray tell, is sting buzz? Is it audible or more of a feeling, kind of a vibration thing?

    It sounds like a guitar string being plucked, but muchqiucker and lower pitched. It isn't felt usually...depends on the bow.

    Precisely. It's a "twang" the string makes...An STS will usually clear it right up.
