Default Who has a 80# Vulcan

I read in a post on here where someone stated they had ordered a Vulcan with 80# limbs. I was curious as to whether they had gotten the bow in and how it shot. I was thinking of purchasing a set of 80# limbs incase I wanted to generate more kinetic energy or just to have them....lol

I'm going for whatever gets in front of me, The owner of our local archery shop was getting nervous when I started shooting the techno hunt screne, It hits with 97 pounds kinetic energy. sounded like thunder when it hit the screne. you got to love it!!!

Better question would be "Who needs one". Sounds like a typical problem with testosterone level.

I personally shoot a bow set at 79 lbs and have shot a bow around 80 lbs for about 10 years I don't need it and its not a macho thing I shoot better at that weight and am more comfortable with it than a lighter draw.

Lighter draw. More holding weight. You'll get a smoother draw out of it and someday your shoulders will thank you.

I used to shoot with a guy that shot a Trykon at 84 pounds. He drew ridiculous, shot worse, and talked even worse. For him, it was all a macho thing. If you can do it, more power to you, and your arrow.
