drop away arrow rest?

RE: drop away arrow rest?
I just rid of the one I had on my Hoyt and went to the Whisker Biscuit. The drop away is great for target shooting, but I think the WB is quieter and really contains the arrow shaft if you have to some manuevering just prior to the shot.

the other day i shot an 07 allegiance with a ripcord drop away on it and it was great, it doesnt allow the arrow to fall out at all, just like a WB, if i were to get a drop away i would get the rip cord, it was great.

I'm a big fan of the Drop Zone. Built in broadhead gaurd, and works flawlessly. Straight up, straight down. I don't like the Trophy Taker styles that fall on the shelf of the bow. They work mind you, I just don't want to cover everything in moleskin to keep it quiet. And again, I like the straight up straight down philosophy.

I am using a Schaffer Mat1 dropaway on my Switchback and really like it. See http://www.schafferarchery.com/mat1-arrow-rest.html
There are other models of this rest for other bows. I have also used the Whisker Bisquit on another bow and liked the way it held my arrow steady but didn't like the wear and tear on the vanes. Of the two, I prefer the dropaway.
