Default Another Newbie Question--Targets

Saw a post on this but couldn't find it again. Anyway, what brand/type of target should I buy to shoot broadheads? I figure I can practice at the range with field points but would like a durable broadhead target if one exists. I kind of like the looks of that 8? sided one but have absolutely no idea if it's any good. Thanks.

Morrell Yellow Jacket is the best in my book.

I cant say I was overly impressed with the morrell, not real easy to pull the arrows and heard people complain about loosing inserts and broadheads in the target. I did make the mistake or shooting a field tip into it, not good burried to the fletches and would not come out. Id stick with the block myself.

hands down, for under $95 dollars, you can get yellow jacket fieldpoint target and broadhead targets... imo best value !!

the other you alluded to is a rinehart target it's about $100 just for the big one has 18 sides to shoot easy pull made for fieldpoint or broadheads..

hope this helps

Our local archery shop recommended the Block 4X4; saying that it would last much longer than the Morrell. Were they blowing smoke?

I have a Block target and been shooting broadheads into it for about 6 years now...... it finally has worn out so might have to think of replacing it this fall.... oh wait,, make that next spring after I return from 'the land of sand'
