IF you dont have a mathews you wish you had one????????? That makes no sense. If you can afford the cash for a bowtech than you can afford a Mathews. So why would somebody buy a bow they didnt want that cost the same as a bow they did want?????? However since this is a guardian vs drenalin post ill go ahead and tell this story and my experience with the 2. At the shop monday I went in to talk to Matt(archery department). He told me he finally got modules for the guardian and he only had one 27.5 module which was being set up on a guardian being sold while I was talking to him. I was unsure actually what would feel best so tony the guy buying the bow let me draw it back. Felt perfect. The thing is, laying on the table was a drenalin. He told me it was his and he was gonna see if matt could sell it for him. Since he wanted it sold me and him went around back to shoot it while matt installed the module, and string loop on the guardian.I had nothing bad to say about it. It is a sweet bow and has a great feel. Cant comment on the grip because he had his removed and taped up. Said he couldnt stand the grip. He also told me that sometimes it made a slight rattle sound that sounded like a loose screw but never could figure out if it was something in his rest, sight or the bow itself. After my experience with the drenalin I must say that i really do like the draw and its a great bow. but I really preffered the guardian. My first time shooting the guardian was a few weeks back and it was a 29" draw. Far from my 27.5. I commented that the draw seemed to stack up a bit, which was my only complaint. After matt had tonys guardian set up I finally got to shoot a guardian fitted for me. The draw felt much nicer than on the 29"er. Wasnt nearly as noticable. Still doesnt have that smooth feel of the drenalin though. but the complete shock free, quiet and speedy package makes up for it. I also preffered the way the guardian felt as far a stability goes. Felt heavier and steadier than the drenalin which is what I prefer. Some people like extremely light bows. I never have. All in all ill say that even though I think the guardian is the absolute quietest bow on the planet right now and fits my every need there is no perfect bow for everyone and the drenalin is a great shooter. Either bow is a pleasure just to shoot.

I have a Drenalin and an Allegiance. While both are phenomenal bows I have and still can shoot the mathews bows more accurately. The mathews bows for me are harder to tune but they just work better for me.

Guy's !
Everyone of us bought our bow because we thought it was the best out there and that's the truth ,because these bow's are the best "for us" and that's where you draw the line . Because you shoot Mathew's ,BowTech ,Hoyt ,,,etc, etc, etc, to each his own ,that these bow's are the best to each and every one of us that prefer's which ever brand over the other .
So why all the bull?

This just cracks me up, is it alway about one brand vs. another??? Heck, I shoot a Reflex,(AKA out-dated Hoyt) because it was priced right, and felt right to me, and don't really care what anyone else shoots. I'm interested in different observations of new bows, because I'd like to have a newer parallel limb style bow after shooting a Trykon last year, and just about every bow on the market. I almost bought an Allegiance from a co-worker, but deferrred due to pregnant wife and unforetold future expenses. But I think the most important point is that the archer is happy with his purchase, be it a BowTech, Hoyt, Martin, Matthews or whatever. I think anybody who gets up on their horse to defend their "Brand" is a bit thin-skinned and overly defensive. I posted what I'd been told by a local dealer about Guardians' having limb problems, and it turned into a "hate-crime" against BowTech because it was assumed I was making something up. I'm not "brand" loyal to anything, (except maybe my Dodge w/ a Cummins [8D]), and I have no vested interest in making BowTech look bad, I was just trying to clarify why the wait may be long. I was interested in shooting one too!!!!

Newman1....you say we Mathews owners are thin skinned, but your the one who started the "trash talk", Me personally being a Mathews owner, I don't like the Drenalin, so how is that being "thin skinned". I would buy the Switchback, but it's not me, if he wants a Drenalinthen he should, it's whatever the buyer fills comfortable with. I'd rather be attempting a shot with a bow that I liked vs. one I didn't, it's called confidence in your equipment. Best of luck of whatever bow you end up with.
