I agree that simmons sharks are a very good head, and muzzy's are top notch, i have used both for the last two years with no complaints about either. You also might consider the Atom from Arrow-Dynamic Solutions. My friend has used this broadhead for the last two years and swears on his life he will never switch. I just like to be stubborn with him so i have not tried it yet.

I used the Muzzy MX-4 last year, and I'll beputtingthe MX-3 through its paces this year. I think this is gonna be one super-tough little head that should fly great.

I've stuck with the Slick Tricks for the last three years. I noticed the Newer Tricks for 2006 got burred pretty easily after a pass-thru and that could be from the surgical sharpness and the thinness of the blades at the edge.
For this year I plan on testing the New Titanium Bullet, aSteel Force Broadhead, the Hades by Grim Reaper, The MX-3 Muzzy and the Maniac from Aftershock. G5 have also improved a whole lot.
However you can get loads of really good fixed blades broadheads today.

I have the muzzy 3-blades that i've shot it seems like forever, and then last year I used the muzzy phantoms. I think they are both bad to the bone.

Slick tricks for me, you can't beat the broadhead or the service.

I have shot Steel Force 85 gr serrated the last 3 years. I like the fact that they shoot just like my field points and that they are a cut on contact blade. I have awesome penetration with these. A pass through on a steep quartering away mule deer buck at 40 yards. Exited just in front of the opposite shoulder. Also a pass through on a 250 lb black bear standing facing me. Entered 1 inch to the side of the brisket and exited one inck to the opposite side of the spine. 50 yard recovery. Shot another buck quartering to me at 30 yards. through the chest, out the belly, and through the rear leg. Breaking the rear leg as well. 100 yard recovery. Good broadhead, although I wont claim the best because I haven't tested all. I just know that these are very deadly.

I shoot the American Broadhead Company sonic heads. They are smaller and don't look as bad as the other broadheads but they fly like a field point. So there is no worry about having to resite your bow from field tips to broadheads, its all the same.
