Was wondering if anyone shoots or has shot this bow. It's one on the list of those I might buy. TIA

This is the bow I was speaking of. I just noticed tho that it is only maximum a 60lb bow. . . .I would have to think about that.

Yep, I looked at the Maurader . . .I want it!! A little more pricey at just under 600.00, I just told my wife that to be truely happy I need that bow.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'm being attracted to Darton because of the lack of advertising by Darton as compared to other bows.

Marauder
The new and compact Marauder is the next evolution in compact, high-performance hunting bows. An all new CPS Hybrid 1-1/2 Cam with a single draw module provides for quick and easy draw length adjustments in 1/2" increments from 26 through 30-inches. This is made possible by Darton's highly innovative and patented method of anchoring the bowstring to the adjustable module. The bowstring length is adjusted automatically as the module is adjusted. Adjustment are made easily by simply removing two screws, rotating the module to the desired position and replacing the screws. That's all there is to setting up the Marauder for tack-driving accuracy.Eflex Parallel Pre-Loaded Energy Limbs effectively store and transfer CPS energy with unbelievable smoothness and minimized hand shock resulting in unmatched noise reduction. Like every Darton bow, the Marauder features a rock-solid draw stop feature that provides the shooter with a very distinct and consistent wall with a very short valley for a crisp and consistent release on every shot. The Marauder has a very forgiving brace height of 7-5/8" and has an axle-to-axle length of 32". With speeds in excess oof 305 fps, the Marauder sets a new standard in smooth, quiet and compact hunting performance. The Marauder can be purchased as a bow only or as a Darton package with a fiber optic sight, matching camo bow quiver and a Whisker Biscuit rest. Finish: Realtree Hardwoods HD® Green.

Bought a 2006 tempest extreme for my daughter. Good bow. The 2007 bows are supposed to be very nice.

I have been looking at darton archery products over the past several weeks and it appears that the typhoon is what they use to call the vapor. I am basing this on the specs that are given and the price that was quoted. I am looking to upgrade from my 1993 dartonmustang and would like to stay with darton as i have owned three darton bows since 1979. My only concern is dealer network as the last 3dealers where i purchased my bows have gone out of existence. I may decide and go with one of the big 3(hoyt, bowtech, mathews)but then again when my choice was chevy, ford or dodge i went with an oldsmobile.
