I use one on my Old Glory and like it. One of the most attractive things for me was the price. Most ofther stabilizers are very expensive for what you get, but the S-coil is under $20.

Yup... I got the S-Coil stablizer too. Works great. It was the best $12 bucks I ever spent!

Glad to hear some good experiences with the stabilizer. Like some said, I am not purchasing the S-Coil for stabilization, more or less for an added noise/vibration killer. I do not shoot 3-D aside when practicing, so it would really only benefit me in the woods. Looks like I'll be picking one up very soon though.:D

Echo the above comments. It is an awesome "noise and vibration reducer". Probably a little too light for the hardcore target shooters but perfect for hunting.

I actually don't like my bow to roll forward after the shot. I like my bow to stand perfectly upright when I loosen my fingers on my grip. The S Coil is just the perfect weight to balance my bow in my hand without making it roll forward after the shot.

My only experience with one is my wife had one on her old Hoyt Sierra Tec. The bow had this noise everytime she shot it; we finally figured out it was the S-Coil stabilizer. Got rid of it and put on a doinker and the bow was quiet.

That's very unusual, but you got the facts by shooting it. I won't put up an arguement.

Is it possible the doinker removed a noise the s-coil could not?

Just having a hard time seeing how a chunk of rubber could "make" noise.
