I also bought the buck bomb, are you using during the rut or pre rut?

I'm hoping the "chasing" is going to get into action (not neccessarily full swing)this weekend. I would still say in VA we are in the pre-rut. I'm putting it into action this weekend. Question anyone have any good tactics on how to use it (full can, 1/2 can, 1/4 can? ground or air ( i.e. from climber)? Thanks in advance.

Well I only used it for the morning hunt on Sat. I sprayed about onequarter of the can into theair and then another quarter of the can on a keywick in a shooting lane15 yds from my tree.About 7:30 I saw a nice high6 pt (non-shooter)come in nose down to the groundand stand directly down wind of itand came to a dead stop about70 yds from my tree stand. It wouldn't come in any closer. At 9:00 same story with a little spike. Nothing else came close to me with the exception of a few does. Good show though needless to say.

My brother showed up last year with a can for me and himself. I was a little shocked since he doesn't use this kind of stuff. He said some guys had highly recomended it and said that we might not be able to get up into our stands fast enough, it works that well. I gave him some ribbing and he turned a lighter shade of red.

I was first to give it a shot and since he said it may happenquickly I set mine off and chucked it from my stand. Let me tell you things were a little crazy after that, ONLY IN MY MIND.It layed a big goose egg, nothing, zero, nadda. My brother had the same experience.

I see they have some new one's out this year. One has in it's name something about big breasts. LOLBound to bring those big, one thing on their minds bucks in.

That would make me a little concerned. If a use a scent product and deer won't approach any closer than 70 yards! Not much good for archery hunting!
Saw it used today on a hunting show. the guy had a buck in sight, he did a little sprit.....sprit....spray with his. He said he was mimicing a snort wheeze. Yeah Right[&:]The buck definately heard him spray, BUT it sure as heck didn't appear in the video to bring the buck any closer, at that moment. It did put the buck on alert, and a little later he did shoot the buck, and of course he said his success was due in part due to the great product.....The buck bomb!! They'll say anything to sell a product! It might of sold me if the buck would've turned and came directly into the set up, BUT it didn't! He had some decoys that it looked like the buck came to, not the spray!
