Default TEKAN II OR SLICK TRICKS

I used the tekans last year and shot two deer. Neither went very far and the first left a poor blood trail. Are the slick tricks a better head. Will they fly as good as the tekans. The tekan flew like darts. dead on. I am concerned about furture poor blood trails. maybe it was the angle in which i hit the deer. entered through lung and exit through briscuit.

I've done extensive testing with the Slick Tricks...both in accuracy and torture tests. I've compared them with many, many brands. They are one of the few heads that actually shoot exactly to field point location and are tough as nails. They not only cut, but blow huge exit holes. As a bonus, the new 2006 blades are much, much sharper. I highly recommend. Good luck this season.

I took this bear last week using the 05 version Slick Trick's ,maybe they're not as sharp as this season's version ,but they broke bone going in and broke bone coming out and then proceeded to pass through the shoulder as you can see if you look carefully at the pic . the blood trail wasn't very good ,but a bear's hide will absob the blood being it's so long and dense ,but also coming through the shoulder wouldn't leave much blood trail as well.

I use the Tekans II last year. I had a terrible thing happen with them. I shot a doe at 10 yards with the tekan. It didn't open up!!! I shot her right through the hart and she ran 40 yardsand fell,in the snow with absolutely NO BLOOD TRAIL!!!! When I got to her It looked like I shot her with a 22. Just a little hole and when I gutted her (I wish I took a picture) there was a perfect little hole with no blade slashes right through the middle of her hart. I threw them away and am now using stingers, never using machanicles again. Ive just had to many things happen with machanicles that scare the shi% out of me.

Definitely the Tricks. Awesome head, fly great and really do the damage upon impact!
