Don't know of a manufacturer that does make such a rubber boot. With that said, I have found that laCrosse is one of the better ones when it comes to large area around the calves..Just my opinion though.

Another vote for Muck boots.Plenty of calf room. I sometimes tuck my pant legs into the boot when there is a little snow on the ground, keeps them from getting wet then frozen.

I am in the same boat. I actually had to cut off a pair of rubber waders. I just recently purchased a pair of muck boots. They felt really good in the store but I wore them for awhile and the started to rub on the back of my calves. Nice boot but they didn't work for me to well. Back to the cut off rubber waders.
