Default Scent Lock Suit

I was just wondering if you guys and gals think that it would be a good investment if I had the money for it.
Also, is Scent Lock and Scent Blocker that much different?

Fargo! Your stink freezes and falls to the ground around you doesn't it?

I think it deepends on location. A base layer and all the clothes you can wear should be good enough. Cover you head and hands as well.

You would think it should how cold it gets on some days. haha
I was thinking of a base layer and then their buck skin pant and jacket...I just kinda feel like going over board with the scent elimination this year just so I can't use that as an excuse

Personally, I wouldn't spend money on any type of scentblocker clothing. I feel that as long as you keep the wind in your face, you'll be fine. I've been dressed in full blazeorange after not showering for 3 days (no running water where I hunted that time) and had deer come within 10 yards because I was downwind.

Keeping the wind in your face is the best. But I have used scent lok and scentblocker,I have had deer come right under my tree from down wind, with them on, but no trophy buck, mostly does and small bucks. But I do believe it saved me one day ,I was set up on a scrape line,I thought i had figured out which way he would come in,when he came in He was coming straight to the scrape 15 yds from my tree ,I was head to toe in a leafy suit with scenbloker underneath,he seen me up the tree,or something out of place so he angled and came out on the logging road about 35 yds from my tree downwind I thought Im busted, but then he almost ran and started tearing up that scrape 15 yds from my stand, and didnt even pay me no attention any more I arrowed him quartering to me just a lil he ran 160 yds and was out for the count. At the time he was a trophy to me , 9 pointer on public land. A pretty nice 2 and half year old. But Since I set my sights alil higher, but I do believe that scent bloker saved me that day for sure.

Compared to simply adding a 50 cent box of ordinary baking soda to the rinse cycle when washing the camo that you already have ? No , you'll just be flkushing a lot of money down the crapper for some temporary effect .

The protection afforded by baking sodas is easily renewed , adsorbs at least as much odor as activated carbon , and never clogs . It also stifles the growth of odor causing bacteria on the surface of your skin , something even the most expensive carbon suit could never do . Save your money for more important things .

I wear it and still hunt the wind. Just in case the wind accidently swirls.

Kevin1, Baking Soda is nothing more then Sodium, Hydrogen, Carbon and Oxygen. Like/believe it or not carbon suit do work. Baking soda will neutralize oders but will not prevent the further growth of bacteria.

Buck Slayer, I've been asking myself the same question and I thinkI amcoming out the same hole... by a good under layer and use that and wash the outter (non-scent blocker)garments withbaking soda. Properly taking care of the scent blocker type garments sounds like a pain in the butt and I know I'll get lazy.Plus... how do you know you have properly "re-activated" the carbon??? However, I was looking at a scent free garment in Dick's the other day that had a scratch & sniff tag on it. I tried it... the smell was like a "perfume" odor and very noticeable... I placed the swatch over it... stuck my nose up to it and couldn't smell anything. So the stuff is effective... so I may spring for it for peace of mind.

Let's face it... to be completely scent free you would have to live like the bubble boy.
