Any Thoughts on Muzzy's?
Any thoughts on which is better between:
100 Gr. Muzzy with Three Blades
100 Gr. Muzzy with Four Blades
I always see thethree blades sold out and storeshaving plenty of the four blades on the shelves.
Just curious to get peoples thoughts.
FYI: My setup is using Carbon Arrows.

Generally speaking 3 bladed heads tend to wind-plane less than 4 blades. Not that 4 blades don't do well. It's just that many lack the knowledge and experience to get them to fly as well a 3 bladed head. And sometimes, for whatever reason, they just get fidgety.
Then there are still somepeople who think they have to align their heads with the fletching and it's hard to align 4 blades with 3 fletches. It's not necessary, but some think so. Then there are those who do so just paying attention to every little detail.
Four blades do more cutting. That's a given, but no animal will ever be able to tell how many blades just zipped through them. Dead is dead.
Does this help?

I shoot the 3 blade now with my current setup. I used to use the 4 blade with my old bow and it flew well. It does seem to drift too much with my current setup. I like both 3 and 4 blades with the right setup.

I've shot the 3-blade 100-grain Muzzys in the past, though I am very interested in the 4-blade 100-grain MX4s...
especially if I can't get the newer, sharper-bladed Slick Tricks. If Gary delivers on that before the season starts, that'll be the head I'm shooting after I go through my current stock.
