Anybody used a magnified sight for hunting? I know it would be great for targets, but is it practicle for hunting. The only reason is that im thinking bout gettin a toxonics sight and im not sure if i want a magnified or not

Magnification isn't legal here so be sure to check the reg.'s where you're at. Other than that, I personally wouldn't do it because of glare issues on the lense in the wrong lighting. It gains you some precision in target shooting but that kind of precision, while nice, isn't that necessary during hunting. I just think the possible cons outweigh the pros in a hunting scenario.

good points, im really just curious, i think i'll stick to unmagnified for hunting.
