I've been shooting Axis 340s for over a year and I'm well pleased with them. Of the original dozen I am down to 9. They WILL break under some conditions as will any carbon arrow. The first one broke when I didn't get a complete pass through on a doe and she fell on it. She didn't get back up and that arrow was a price I didn't mind paying. The other 2 got busted nocks while shooting in the back yard and upon further inspection found the shafts to be cracked or chipped. I always inspect my arrows if there is contact when shooting. Anyway all in all I like the Axis shafts just fine.

Whitey,

I don't shoot either of the arrows you mention, but I've got experience with them and there is no way I would consider an Axis if I already had 3D Selects. There is a world of difference in quality and the 3D Select is the better quality by a long shot.

Easton ST Axis 400's. Speed and durability. I used to shoot the CE Terminators. Too bulky.
