RE: ARROWS ???
BGfisher, are you sure you understand what spine, average weight, & straightness mean??? do you know what a thousands of an inch looks like? the 3D select is not a world of difference compared to the axis nor is it better quality! yes they are both great shafts, but to say one is far greater than the other is either A) stupid, or B) you are trying to sell 3D Select. For your sake I hope it is B, although if you are selling 3D Selects and not telling anyone then i quessyou arestupid.

RE: ARROWS ???
Either keep the CX 3D selects or try the maxima's. I love the CX's and the GT XT Hunters. Properly spined and correctly put together, they will all group excellently.

RE: ARROWS ???
ORIGINAL: MASTERDIVER Easton ST Axis 400's. Speed and durability. I used to shoot the CE Terminators. Too bulky. |
RE: ARROWS ???
Walt,
I doubt fater 32+ years of shooting both competitively and hunting I think I've learned a little bit, although there is always more to learn with this sport evolving. As for selling one shaft against another? CX vs Easton/Beman? I'm a staff shooter for Gold Tip so my allegiance is to neither of those being discussed here. |
RE: ARROWS ???
Hey Walt
BG's comments may have been a bit strong but not stupid. Yours on the other hand are just plain wrong. It's just his opinion of the question, take it or leave it. Hardly any reason tocall someone stupid.BG has shot many different arrows and has reasons for his comments. I'm sure he knows the difference practically speaking better than most. |
RE: ARROWS ???
whit, i was speaking of the axis... these arrows are the most durable of any carbon arrow i've every shot and i've shot many of the most noteable brands and makes... i believe they are probably the best arrow that money can buy for hunting... they make them more straight and with a more consistant spine, but they don't make them any tougher and when you are talking thousands of an inch it really means nothing...
good luck, buy the axis!!! |
