Default STS on my Tribute!

I just put my new STS on my Tribute and I must say that it was well word the money. It really quieted my bow that was already quiet and what little hand vibration there was is not non existent! A+ in my book!

I have to agree. I put one on my bow last week and I'm pretty impressed.

Keep this talk up, and I'll have to get one too. I'm a sucker for trying new toys! [:-]

Did you get the front or rear mounted one? I ordered the rear mount and was just wondering.

They are nice and do a good job at what they are supposed to to do but I hardly see where this little cable rod look alike with a rubber button on it's end is hardly worth the money?? $40 seems a bit steep for no more than it is??? It works thoughso I paid it.

Beleive it or not, I've still got a Saunders Deadly Quiet in the package which was never opened... (In case you don't knowwhat that is/was; it basically was one of the predecessors to the STS)I may slap that on and see how it performs just for kicks.

Still makes me nervous having something in the path of the string after release. I know the STS has been around for a while now but I just can't bring myself to try it. I've seen the photos and slow speed video of what it looks like when the string makes contact and for some reason it just scares me. lol
