Predator Deception Review (Pics)
#1
Warning: Im in No way intentionally bashing Mossy Oak, Realtree or other stick and limb camoflauges.
So, here's my review of the Deception Camo:
I think the open pattern look is vital to the effectiveness of the camo pattern along with many different natural tones, colors, and light shadowing that help the human outline virtually disappear.
These photos were in no way edited or airbrushed, as they are straight off my camera taken of them in a green pecan tree.
From about 15 yds:

Next two are close ups of the pattern:

Overall, I think the pattern's open look is what rates it above the realtree and mossy oak patterns and helps eliminated the human outline.
Photos were taken at 2:00 in the afternoon in broad daylight
Astonishing

Good post, and thanks for taking the time to take the pics and post them. That's what makes this forum a great place: everyone contributing.
The dissemination of knowledge that one doesn't get in mainstream outlets is another thing that makes it so great; you're right --there's no comparison of a "traditional" pattern versus an open-concept one like you've shown above.
I'm glad you've found a pattern you're happy with.
God bless, and good hunting!

LW, that bears a striking resemblance to what I told him!

I'm going to be nterested in checking out this new Enigma stuff, but if you're going with Predator, I don't think Fall Gray can be beat.

Hey Ite 622
Hi ya doing
That Deception pattern looks pretty cool , I really like it on my Double Bull T5 ground blind.
It does blend in and break up your out line at same time, amazing.
You wouldn't have a link to the company would you?

just curious why you all like fall grey better than fall brown? My concern is that it would be to much white. I do alot of early season hunting... Im thinking of gettin a pair of spring green coveralls and maybe some fall grey or brown stuff... Any suggestions or opinions?

as im the only one that does anything hunting related in my family
