Great review. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. I recently bought a new blind myself and plan on putting a little review together for it as well eventually. It isn't a Double Bull but is the same 'hub style" design.

Been debating with myself on getting another pop up and finally picked up a Matrix 360. The only thing that has bummed me out about blind....that like alot of other things nowdays it's made in CHINA ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

The dvd that comes with is ok, a little childish and hokey at times though[8D]

I did some experimenting today with a few different camera setups and had great results, just as advertised.

The DB Matrix is indeed an awesome blind and a cut above the rest! I love my Matrix and spent a good deal of time in it last season and wow, what a product. My 10 year old Daughter even took her first deer from it. I'm looking very forward to bowhuntin' Gobblers again this spring from it. From field of view, quality contruction, even camo, this blind is at the top of it's class. You can buy cheaper blinds but that's all you get.... a "cheap" blind! Good luck and good shootin'

How well does the shoot through mesh work? does it have any effect on accuracy?

Many of the less expensive blinds are of very good quality and design.

I also bought that same blind last fall and on my first hunt out of it shot my best deer ever and he never even looked at the blind when he came in. The blind has shoot through windows all the way around and even has a roof hatch for bird hunting. It withstood an amazingly strong windstorm one night that had me thinking that I was going to hunt for the blind, not deer the next day but it never moved. The fabric is also very good with no "shine" like some of the cheaper makes. I have never seen a double bull but for my money I couldn't be happier with my Grond MAx DX.

As long as you aren't using a broadhead with the great big "L" arms, it won't have any effect on accuracy at all.

I totally agree, I shoot a small 100 grain 2 blade thru the netting w/zero deflection! But all my shots are less than 20 yards or I pass...
I set mine up down my basement and shoot, I have a "block" @ 18 yards & it'son the floor giving me the proper height. Just a few arrows every other day w/field tips & windows open.
