Need new string silencers

Last night while shooting my string silencers came flying off. Any recommendations on after market upgrades?

I second Aussi-guy's choice of catwhiskers. I also have found that

they work great at silencing and last the life of the string. I

serve them on then trim them down also.

Try Tru Ball spider silencers with the speed balls. I use these and they never wear out can be switch from one bow to another and can add alot of speed to your set up. By experimenting with moving them up and down my string I've added 11 fps went from 264 to 275 at 61# draw with a 360gr. arrow and it's dead quiet.:)Check them out you will not be dissapointed.

i like the whiskers also. on ebay there is a seller, allfixepoxy, that sells them by the bucket. i can let you know how to turn them into puffy balls if you go that route.

I like to use "string leech" made by limb saver. I use the ones made for crossbows. They are very quiet and hold up in hot cond.to freezing temps. Also the keep from creating a lot of drag.

The new String Shox work very well. As do the cat whiskers.

I tried the STS this deer season and was able to take all string silencers off my bow. Tickled pink.

Ya that would be great...I just had the local shop install them over the weekend and they look like crap. :DSeriously...all they did was cut a piece off a roll and tied this big old knot around my string. I cut them down to size, but they are no where near looking like a circle or puff ball. I tried to get him to serve it in flat to the string or between the string and he said nobody has ever asked for that before.[:@]So I gotthe standard big knot and the little suckers slide all over the place with just a little pressure from my finger. How are you doingit?
