lone wolf all the way. I have a hand climber and a fixed position, love them both. They make me feel like i'm standing on the ground and are ultra silent.

If you go with the lone wolf sit n climb, you might want to wait. I spoke to the owner of the company at the Harrisburg show and there are changes being made to the top part of the sit n climb. The top will be wider to accomodate bigger guys, and the seat will be made with adjustable buckles. This lets you raise and lower the seat within the top "frame". I just wish this was done two years ago. Now I'll have to buy the new top piece ($130). The one I have, the top is too narrow for me and I had to hand stitch the seat straps to bring it up to the height that was comfortable for me. They are also going to put an extra strap on it, so you can better secure the top to the bottom when packing (no rattle).
