Magnus Stinger is a cut on contact head. I'm not sure what you are referring to.

I'm sorry, my mistake, I meant Spitfire broadheads.

The tekanIIs are the only semi-expandable that I've shot through bone and been able to re-use! They sure are tough![:@]I have also used the montechs from G5 , these are also atough B/H ! The tekanIIs work better for me , because the head is nearly un-destructable and for $9.99 I can buy replacement blades for 3 heads!:)The tips sharpen nice , and the practice blade inserts will probably last a life time. I shot a cow elk in the shoulder last season with these , she went 10 or so yards and toppeled , mangled my arrow but I'm still using that B/H![8D]

RE: Broadheads.........?

I USED MUZZYS FOR YEARS TILL LAST SEASON I SWITCHED TO CRIMSON TALONS CAUSE OUR PRO STAFFERS USE THEM AND ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS WOW. I DIDNT HAVE A DEER GO MORE THAN 30 YARDS WITH THEM. THEY CUT SUCH A NASTY HOLE AND THEY BLEED A DEER LIKE HE GOT SHOT WITH A 300 WIN MAG. I EVEN MADE A BAD SHOT ON A DOE CAUSE I HIT A LIMB AND I HIT HER WAY BEHIND HER VITALS AND SHE WENT DOWN 20 YARDS FROM MY STAND AND BLED OUT IN A COUPLE MINUTES. THE BLADES ARE ALITTLE BRITTLE BUT NOTHING CUTS AND OPENS A WOUND CHANNEL LIKE EM.

Check out the Rocky Mtn. line of heads too..........especially the Turbos, they come incredibly sharp and fly like a field point although they are a fixed head.

I agree Muzzy "BBBBaad to the Bone". Currently use the 4 blade 125s for the 1-1/8" cut. When I get my new Trykon I'm going to try the new muzzy max 4 in 100 gr. lighter and you still get the 1-1/8" cut.
