G5's are awesome heads. They fly great even at lightning fast speeds. Super sharp too. Good choice.

we have had quite a few G5 broadheadsused around are hunting camp (www.knsguideservice.com ) and they have performed well. Another broadhead that we have been impressed with is Spitfire XP 100 Pro Series.

I used to swear by the stinger but just kept injuring deer, after my last deer injure my buddies gave me a set of Jak Hammers and said just use them for free. I have stopped my last 3 deer in there tracks. Both broadheads shot at 72lbs.

I bought a pkg of G5 Montecs and while theyflygood I can't seem to sharpen them, even with their Diamond stone. So the next to try will be Razorcaps or maybe wait until the new Montec with replacable blades comes out in April, I believe. It looks pretty good. Larv

Sounds like you're blaming it all on the stingers. Sure it didn't have anything to do with shot placement?

I guess it could, but it happend to myself and others. I'm not sure that they opened all the way. Really try a Jak Hammer they are bad to the bone!!
