I would venture to say that most of your accuracy came from you.I don't think you'll miss much.

RE: What Brand of Arrows?

To the guy who originally posted about this, if you are looking for an arrow to shoot hogs with, and don't want to spend too much money, I'd probably go with Carbon Express Terminator Selects. I had a bunch of these that came with my Pro 38 Dual Cam bow. They did shoot well, are very tough, and reasonably priced. Mine were used, so I don't have any idea how much they were shot and into what targets. The only down side I can remember is that only 5 of the 9 arrows I had would really group broadheads together, but again, what the previous owner did with them is anyone's guess. The one I shot a big doe with did break off inside the deer, but penetrated from the last ribs on the left side and broke the right shoulder on exit. She did kind of jerk around when the arrow was going through.

I have also tried CX camo arrows, Blackhawk Vapors, Axis, Arrow Dynamics Stingers and Traditionals, and Carbon Tech Cheetahs. Out of these the Cheetahs have been by far the most impressive overall. Great shooting arrows, the only all carbons I've had that can hang in there with ACCs when shooting broadheads. I'm surprised by the weakness claim with the Whitetails. I've had no nock area problems with the Cheetahs, though I now have unibushings in them. The seemed pretty tough when I've shot through my bag target into the concrete wall, but I never thought about shooting directly into the wall. They also seemed to hold up accuracy wise to more shooting. The Axis I had were great when new, then I started to have grouping issues after a few months. I put those arrows on my spinner, and the wobbled badly after a few months, where they had spun pretty well when new.

I like the GT 55/75XT Hunters. I also shoot CX 400's (a bit heavier but goup nearly identical) and Maxima 350's. They are all excellent arrows. If on a tight budget, buy the best arrows you can afford and practice, practice, practice.....For the money, GT's offer the XT's in black and camo, with the black being very affordable. I prefer the camo, it's a little lighter and the pattern just looks great, but they are about 15-20 bucks a dozen more expensive. Still, cheaper than either the CX's or Maxima's.
