i would appreciate any input i could get on a 2005 mathews ovation. i have the oppurtunity to buy the bare bow for $400. good target bow so i hear. i also want to hunt with it. any thoughts????29.5 inch draw 70lbs

yes you can hunt with it.If you look at axile to axile it is longer than most hunting bows and a little slower.My swtchback is 33 and shoots 315 fps.Yours is 40 and about 300fps.still kill deer or hogs.400 isnt bad but remember your not getting a warranty with the bow and it is used.If loadedready to shoot I would say go for it.
