newguy23, maybe in your neck of the woods, but your post was the first I heard the name. With Lancaster Archery and Kinsey's Outdoor World I would think that if the bow was that popular it would be carried by one or both. It may be a regional manufacturer at this time. Not saying it's not a good product, but I purchased two bows in the 80's that were ahead of their time. The manufacturer sold out to an investment group and the product and service both deteriorated until they were out of business. Today, many of the bows being produced are still compared to Oregon.

I am VERY surprised... We have them locally at every store here... Some that don't even cary BowTech (Gander Mountain). Do the stores around there carry BowTech... Seems like they would carry Diamond as well?

newguy, you won't ever see a Gander Mountain carrying a BowTech -- or a Hoyt or a Mathews for that matter.

The "Big 3" -- as they're sometimes called -- will not allow chain store/mass merchandisers to carry their lines; they'd rather have their bows sold in what they hope are atmospheres that are conducive to personally fitting a customer, with knowledgeable pros and/or techs.

That's one reason why BowTech acquired the Diamond line -- so they can offer a very nice bow at a lower price point and reach more people shopping for that type of bow through those retailers. Hoyt does the same with the Reflex line.

Greg... Yeah... that is my point... But around here the pro shops which carry BowTech all Carry Diamond, but like you said the discount outfitters don'tall carry BowTech... That is why I said you are more likely to run into a Diamond, Reflex, etc. than the top three.
