Yep... I see that now, my apologies... Although I don't know if that is accurate either... I can not see any direct relation between some of the diamond bows and the Bowtech bows... I think this year, being the first where they have done this??? Maybe the Bowtechs have a little better finish to them? I don't know.

I have had no experience with the Diamond line, but as compared to Hoyt and Matthews, both Hoyt and Matthews are well established. Parts and repair are quick and in many cases can be done at a local repair facility without the inconvenience of sending the bow back to the manufacturer and both will probably be in business for some time to come. Will Diamond? A lifetime warranty isn't worth much when the company is no longer in business and with few shops handling this manufacturer there will also be few shops familiar with repairs or warranty work.

I've had no problems from my retailer or Diamond in backing up there product. I've had great customer service from the retailer and Diamond. Diamond has returned my email questions in a very quick manner. I'd have no problem buying another Diamond product. Bowtech is not going anywhere. They're here to stay.

I definitely don't want to start an argument here, as I have never shot a Diamond bow. I have seen them in Bass Pro and look like a fine bow.
I think what Sniper is trying to say is that retailers like Bass Pro,Cabelas, and othersdon't have the ability to swap out a limb or change a cam on the spot if you have an issue. The bow shops that I have experiences with do have that ability which is key when you are in a pinch and need something fixed quickly and you can't wait the 2-3 weeks the retailers take to get your part in a swapped out. |

I have three proshops within an hour drive that carry Diamond bows as well as Bowtech, Matthews and Hoyt. Well different stores different brands but all three carry Diamond. I have contacted the manufacturer and got a very quick response.Customer service is NOT a problem with this bow!
I love my Victory and would make the same choice today. |

As long as BowTech keeps managing the line as a sister company, I see no reason it shouldn't survive and work out any different than Reflex does for Hoyt, Browning and AR for PSE, etc... These companies have figured out if ya wanna get people introduced and involved in archery, and then keep them interested, you have to give them a way to get into it at a lower price point with some quality gear. Then when they are into it, later they will probably upgrade to your higher end bows because they are familiar with the customer service, the way the bow works, and so on.
