Default Decided on a bow, thanks for the help

So I went out and checked my local pro shops (all two of them)... Shot some bows, saw some equipment, talked to some people... blah blah blah... Anyway, I really didn't shoot a bow I didn't like... It seemed like I favored the "parallel limb designs?" the best. I shot a 2006 Diamond Victory and really liked it.. Anyway... Then being the cheap skate I am fumbled around on-line and saw what you guys posted about Huntersfriend.com packages and saw they had the 05 Diamond Victory for a steal! Package price less than the total price of a stripped 06... Although I think the 06 might be a little better... It has wood grips anyway.

Here is what I ended up getting...
05 Diamond Victory SC (50-60#;set at 55 - 28" draw)
John Copper Dead Nuts 3-pin site
Scott little bitty goose release
QAD drop-away ultrarest (I actually didn't like the WB)
medium Shurz-a-peep

Thanks for the help...I thought I would have spent well over the $700 I paid, so I am very happy...Can't wait to get it in the mail!

newguy23,

Good job on the research and I'm happy to see your excitted about your new bow. When it comes in, try and find somebody who can help you get the details worked out such as paper tuning, rest adjustment, peep height adjustment, double check anchor points, form, etc.

Have fun!
