Easton A/C/C

does anyone shoot the easton a/c/c arrows? do they bend like regular alluminums?. . . . . if they do bend, are they easy to straighten?.. . .

any problems with them?... . . . i really need some good arrows and i need them verry soon. . . . . yesterday. . . . .but i want the best for my money. . . .

Yes they will bend, but nearly as easy as pure aluminum ones. If you bend one you hit something really hard.

I don't know if they'll straighten, never tried it and probably wouldn't want to.

IMO the ACC is the finest hunting shaft on themarket, but they are a bit pricey. You get what you pay for.

Get Gold Tip Pro hunters. You will be very happy with them. I used to shoot ACC's but switched to the Axis arrows and now i am shooting the Gold Tip Pro hunters and they are the best arrows i have ever shot.

DH18, not wanting to step on any toes or anything but I don't see how anyone can claim than ANY pure carbon arrow is superior to an ACC, especially the Axis shafts. IME I have tried just about every imaginable arro on the market and I always come back to the ACC. To each his own I suppose.

I will likely drop the ACC and go with the Axis next time I need to purchase. In comparing how the Axis and the ACC penetrated in a new target recently I was quite impressed with the Axis. Also I have bent a couple of ACC just removing them from a target ( Morell ). So I will go with the Axis next time.

At $120 per dozen, you cringe when you break one:D. I think every time i shot a deer with the ACC's they either came out bent or broken, then i went to the axis arrows and they were so much more durable. I bought some gold tips to give them a try and they fly just like the Axis's, but got a little more penitration on my Yellow Jacket target so that is what i shoot. If i had to buy new arrows and couldn't get the GT's then i would buy axis's. Never again will i buy ACC's.

$120 a dozen? That's a deal compared to the $150 I've seen everywhere else.

Acc's the best out there. buy the best they are worth it, just be careful with them, don't shoot them into concrete and expect them not to break. spend the money they will perform the way you want.

i was talking to the easton dealer in my area, and he said he has heard about the acc's and seen a couple of the near-pro shooters using them, but other than that he didn't know too much. . . . and he said $100-120 for a dozen. . . . .

i like the idea of alluminum wrapped in carbon. . . .

i appreciate the input from ya'll . . . . . i'll see if i can find a friend to go in half with me. . . . nearly everyone in my area shoots pse x weaves.. . . i might give the acc's a try :)
