Best target and hunting arrow on the market. It may bend but it will not fail on release like hollow carbon arrons.

but one of my questions still remains: when / after being bent, can they be straightened out? i know with regular carbons they're either broke or good to shoot. . . . alluminums are good or bent

i'd be afraid of bending them while pulling them out of the 3d target. . . .i often practice with broadheads prior to hunting day. . . .

the acc's really sound good to me, and i appreciate all the input from everyone. . . . .

The parameters are about the same as with aluminum arrows. A slight bend can be straightened, but check the surface of the carbon wrap. If there is any distortion or damage to the carbon wrap, trash it. When I was shooting the ACC’s I had one that had a slight bend after passing through a 3-D target and glancing off a tree branch. I took my time and with a little adjustment on the strengthener was able to correct the arrow with no damage to the carbon cover.

thank you sniper for the info in regards to straightening out the acc's. i've already purchased 6 pse radial x weave pro's.

i'm still planning on buying half a dozen of the easton ACC's as soon as i find someone who sells them by the half dozen. the dealer i've been talking to only sells arrows (that he doesn't carry in stock) by the dozen and for me to find $120 is tricky. . . . hard enough to find the $50 to get the pse pro's.

I have gone from alluminum to carbon and now to the AC Superslims.

So far I have trashed 2 arrows both where damaged due to hits on the back end.

I seriously doubt if I will ever go back to a pure carbon or alluminum.

As yet I have not had one bend while pulling from a target andI spin test my arrows after I have done shooting.

I've readthat Easton is coming out with a Aluminum over Carbon arrow for 06'. Kind of like a reversed A/C/C. I think it's called the Full Metal Jacket. ;) Will be interesting to see if they surpass the A/C/C.

I hope your right JeramyK. That arrow I would purchase. After seeing the results of hollow core carbons detonating on release I don't want anything to do with them.

That's exactly what I did. I use to shoot A.C.C.'s as well, but after seeing first handthat they bend just as easy as an aluminum arrow, I wasa little ticked with the amount I paid for them!! I have since switched to the Easton Axis arrows this year, since they are an "all carbon" arrow, I don't have to worry about them bending.;)

To tell the truth you have be really really careless to bend an ACC pulling it from a target, 3D or otherwise. I mean really pulling at an angle as in trying to break it. They can and will bend if shot into trees rocks and other stuff that will trash any other arrow. They can be dented when shooting tight groups and getting really hammered from the side.And I can almost guarantee that any time you are shooting nocks bad enough to hammer the nock end of an ACC will totally destroy an AC arrow. But all these things aside they are still one of the very best arrows that an average shooter can buy.

Considering what you are getting for the money the all carbon arrows of similar quality cost only about $10 a dozen less. You can't really compare a mid-range carbon to an ACC for price. They are NOT of the same quality. Check out what Carbon Express 3D Selects, Line Jammers, or CXL II cost. Look at the price of GoldTip Pro 22's or 30X.

We can always look at what the top pro's are shooting on the 3D circuit, but first consider that most of them are endorsed by the companies and they don't have to pay for them. And they don't shoot run-o-the-mill arrows that most bowhunters are going to buy. Only the very best for them.

So Easton is coming out with a"Full Metal Jacket"? This sounds very interesting indeed. I wonder what the thickness of the aluminum would be.

Creek, don't worry about the acc's you are shooting the best already in x weaves. To me pse carbon force pro x weaves are the best. I have shot most others and will only shoot pse carbon force pro x weaves. Love them
