Why do you want to change from the Muzzy's?I have read that the blades are fragile on them talons.Go to broadheadtests.com 5shot did a review on them.

Well they do look cute and all but remember one thing. What happens when u bend and curve metal??? It weakens which is why i didnt go with crimson talons. Ive got muzzy's and have bounced one of the pavement and still didnt break the broadhead, i wont be changing anytime soon!

I tried them when they first came out and was reasonably impressed with them. After PA went through that whole fiasco around their design I just opted not to use them further.

I love these broadheads, These actually fly like field tips,I know I use them! You can call them cute, or try to come up with lame excuse that curving or bending weakens it WRONG ,done correctly It strengthens it. Remember your pickup truck and all the bent and curved metal. I used Muzzy's, lots of setup time and inconsistant. Remember the accuracy of the Brown Bess rifle ? and look what happened to accuracy when they rifled the barrel!Putting spin on the ball or bullet.I shot a seven pointer last Saturday complete pass through and stuck in the dirt, must confess the blades had some small nicks in the blades. i think that was the sticking in the dirt part. try them I think you will like them. Don't be afraid, or have a closed mind to every new concept or Idea. oh yea I forgot to tell you deer traveled 20 yards! They work for me!!!

Probably what was inconsistent was your bow not being tuned or poor form, not the muzzy's.I am not sure what you meant by lots of set up time either,i can change the blades on mine inunder a minute.I shot a doe last saturday ,complete pass through arrow stuck in ground up to the feathers andmust confess the blades had no dings or dents

Aluminum is a soft metal to begin with. The more slots you cut into it the weaker it becomes. Six slots in an aluminum furrel signifigantly weakens the furrel. I want to know that if i make a bad shot on a shoulder or something that my broadhead will hold together and still make into the vital organs in tact. This design leaves a lot to be deisred in the strength department.

The tip is threaded on like a Muzzy but the tollerances are very poor in the broadheads I have seen. Easily bent sideways over the furrel. The tip also does not thread down the furrel very far making it even easier for it to fold over.

The blades have got to be the absolute dullest blades on any broadhead made today. The three little bleeder blades are so dull that I would think that they actually hinder penetration rather than aid in it.

The only thing they have going for theis is that they do fly very well.

There are far too many great broadheads out there that are strong, sharp and fly incredibly well. Why fool around with these gimmics.

BTW, I am not being closed minded, or afraid to try new things. I tried them when they first came out and I got some of the new ones sitting right here in front of me that are suppose to be better than the initial ones. I still don't like them.

The company markets the head well which is why it sells.
