Default Pendulum Sights

Well I just ordered a new Allegiance tonite and it will be here in a week. Now the question is what sights do I put on it? I'm really leaning towards a single pin pendulum sight. Does anyone have experience with this type of sight...good or bad? Any tip would be greatly appreciated.

Pendulum sights are inherantly noisy. For the pendulum to work there must be some space between the moving parts if there isn't nothing moves. The bow vibrates when you shoot it and the moveable parts vibrate against each other at the shot and create noise. Depending on the sight it may be not so loud or it may be very loud but the noise will be there.

If you don't like the sound of metal parts vibrating against each other then I would advise you not to purchase one.

Bigbulls,
I disagree. I have owned and used several Keller sights with GREAT success! My sights were noiseless and worked like a charm. I have killed some nice deer with that sight and feel its a quality, well constructed, solid sight. It is easy to set up, sight in, and use in the heat of the moment. Its VERY accurate - I shoot fingers and am able to keep all my arrows within a tennis ball-sized area. It features an ALL metal construction and is not flimsy.

I'd buy another in a minute!

Hope this helps!

I have a savage pendulum and it is dead silent. My old Keller was noisey, but I hear the new ones are quiet.

I have the same comments as jerseyhunter. My keller was noisy, my savage is dead quiet.
