If you are going to buy a broadhead target buy the Morrel's Yellow Jacket. I have not used one, but I have heard great things about them.

If you are going to shoot field tips buy a Morrel's bag target. I use the Morrel's Quick Stop bag target. It is pretty torn up, but I shot about 1,500 shots into it. I am looking to upgrade to the Morrel's Outdoor Range.

I bought a Block and was not impressed.

I just read an article over at ArcheryTargets.com. They have an article titled "The Open Layered Target Myth". You can read it here : http://www.archerytargets.com/Comparisons.aspx

In their test it took 19 shots with a broadhead before arrows started passing completely through The Block. IMO that's not acceptable for a $60 target. I suspect the Black Hole target would fare just as well under the same testing.

I keep going back to the old cheap solid foam targets at Wal-Mart for $15-20 for 2 targets. At that price I can practice my broadheads and not worry about breaking the bank. Since they are thinner targets I use a couple bales of hay behind the target to stop my carbon arrows.

I wrote an email to blackhole.I told them thier product was inferior and I wasn't alone with this thought .If they didn't believe me look at the forum.A girl named Amy wrote me back and told me not to shoot at same spot on target.I wrote her back and told her I dont shoot at same spot and that was about a stupid answer to give me being I have only shot about 200 arrows at the most in this target.I told her to keep lying about product and they will make money on first time buyers but there will never be a repeat buyer.I also told her to look at this web sight and see what the guys and girls that bow hunt say about thier product.Dont know what they will say but I'm probably waiting on an email that wont come.

I bought one a few years ago, and absolutely hated it! Fell apart in less than 500 shots. Got so mad i kicked every single one of those little slats of foam across the yard. Made me feel a little better.:D
