RE: Arrow choices???

I am a throwback to the dinosaur age... I still shoot Aluminum XX75's in 2315. That's what my bow was setup to shoot, so that is what I shoot. I can buy 3 dozen XX75's for the price of 1 dozen of the fancy carbon arrows. So there...

shoot easton acc's , they are top notch.
Worst arrows I have ever shot. They break and bend way too easily, just like an aluminum arrow. I guess thats why they say there carbon and aluminum.

RE: Arrow choices???

bentbarrel, her is what i shoot.
legacy 67lbs, gt55/77 at 28", with 100 montecs
i wanted a little heavier arrow, like over 400 total wt, so i put on a 125 head, it put me at 407 good right? NO! the 55/75 are to weak spined (even though the gold tip sight says it would work with a 28" arrow) the arrows never would tune i had horrible groups, went back to the 100 montecs, right back on the money!

the point is.....if u like gold tips than just get the 75/95 and u will have a heavier arrow and u will still use an arrow u trust. and if u ever decide to go to a 125 head u won't be under spined![:@]
